Alianthos Garden unfolds as a grand undertaking, seamlessly blending the revival of a dated 1980s hotel with a bold expansion across two adjacent plots owned by Alianthos Garden S.A. Positioned as the inaugural hotel upon entering the Plakias settlement, a mere 135 meters from the sea, it has earned its reputation for delivering top-tier hospitality.
Guided by a modern and minimalist ethos, the architectural design pays homage to the picturesque Plakias landscape. Infused with the earthy tones of the natural surroundings and inspired by the iconic Palindrome Rock, a local landmark, the design adopts clean lines and a focus on volume, reminiscent of the precision seen in orthomarble. The refurbishment of the existing structure is a comprehensive rejuvenation, encompassing facades, outdoor spaces, and an internal reimagining that elevates the aesthetic appeal of the rooms. Expansions are marked by the addition of new rooms, four distinctive restaurants, two bars, a revamped reception area, a state-of-the-art gym, and inviting pools. Materials play a pivotal role, with thermal plaster in soothing beige and gray tones, elegant beige stone cladding, outdoor tiles in calming gray hues, and pool tiles featuring a textured beige stone finish. Swedish wood accents in warm walnut tones introduce a touch of natural warmth. Anthracite-colored aluminum windows frame scenic views, providing a stylish contrast. In essence, Alianthos Garden is a testament to thoughtful transformation, seamlessly blending contemporary luxury with the inherent beauty of Plakias. It stands not just as accommodation but as a harmonious sanctuary, beckoning guests to immerse themselves in the epitome of tranquility.
