Located on the coast of Chania, Myrion Beach Resort is a comprehensive architectural and interior design project by Index K Architects, developed between 2019 and 2021. The resort redefines contemporary Mediterranean hospitality through a composition of clean geometries, natural textures, and a calm yet sophisticated material palette.

The design embraces a modern language that balances sculptural clarity with warm tactility. Spaces are defined by forged cement finishes, marble tiles, wooden surfaces, and subtle lighting, all curated to evoke a serene and timeless atmosphere. Across the resort, from the spa and wellness areas to the reception, lobby bar, and dining spaces, the architecture aims to harmonize functionality, comfort, and aesthetic consistency.
At the heart of the composition lies the main restaurant—a meeting point of modern lines and Mediterranean spirit. Wooden furniture and a flowing ceiling ribbon unify the space, while marble and cement surfaces lend a refined texture. The à la carte restaurant, spa, and gym continue the same design vocabulary, combining relaxation with subtle dynamism.
The lobby and reception areas introduce a bold yet balanced interplay of colors, wood, and vintage details, establishing an inviting sense of arrival. Every design gesture reflects the studio’s holistic approach—from initial moodboards to final execution—creating a resort experience where architecture, interior design, and ambiance come together in a seamless expression of contemporary luxury.
